How to Manage Challenging Behaviors in Dementia
In this talk, Dr. Polsinelli and Dr. Wang will talk about common behavioral changes seen in dementia. Dr. Polsinelli will discuss non-pharmacological approaches to manage these behavioral changes, and Dr. Wang will discuss common psychiatric medications used to manage behavioral changes. Free dinner provided by Riverwalk Village.
Walk To End Alzheimer's
Join us at Still Waters Adult Day Center as we walk to raise money to end Alzheimer’s. We will walk 1 mile around the grounds at the church.

Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and our team is excited to participate this year.
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. We need your help to end this devastating disease. You can make an impact with a donation or even joining our team. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Immunization Clinic
Walk-ins are also welcome. Please bring your immunization card. The clinic will accept and bill all insurance (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid). There is no cost to those without insurance. Vaccine clinic is open to the public. Come and get your recommended vaccines. Indiana Immunization Coalition will pay any expense your insurance does not cover.

Scam Alert- Safeguarding Seniors
This program is designed to equip seniors with the knowledge and tools they need to protect themselves from scams and frauds. In collaboration with the Attorney General's Office, this special session offers valuable insights into common tactics used by scammers and practical strategies to stay safe. From identifying suspicious phone calls to recognizing fraudulent emails, attendees will learn how to spot red flags and safeguard their finances. Join us on August 21st from 5-6:30pm for an informative evening filled with expert advice, dinner included by CommuniCare.

Mum Sale
We are selling a variety of fall plants. Our 9" Garden Mums come in a variety of colors. The 9" Ornamental Kales are of exceptional quality for decorating and make great gifts! A variety of Houseplants are also available. The fundraising dollars earned from this fundraiser will directly benefit Still Waters Adult Day Center.
